| In Midterm #8 we used the blur and blur tool to remove wrinkles, smile lines, blemishes, lighten bags under eyes, etc. In GIMP I took the top photo, the original, and removed any slight blemishes and areas of my skin that were shinny. I did my best to make sure the touch ups made the seconds photo look as realistic as possible. This is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersice BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc |

| This is a screenshot I took of my avatar in the Avaya virtual world. In this greeting card I cropped out the area around my avatar and added the text. The text was hard to see, so I put a stroke around the text to make it easier to see. This is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. | For my midterm #7 I used a picture of the King of Jell-O Pudding, Bill Cosby. First, I cropped out the circle image for the eyes and scaled them down to a proper size for this image. Then the black box was added at the bottom and using the text tool I added the required texts with the proper size, fonts, and colors. The link to the GIMP file of this image can be downloaded HERE.
